Effective Date
This Privacy Policy is effective as of June 12, 2026.
Who We Are
Greek Olive Fusion (operated by Greek Olive Fusion, LLC, referred to in this policy as "we," "us," or "our") runs the website at https://www.greekolivefusion.com, where we sell specialty Mediterranean foods such as olive oil, olives, and vinegars. This policy explains what personal information we collect from you, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at [support@greekolivefusion.com] or by mail at 8320 Singleton Pl, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly, information that is collected automatically when you visit the site, and a small amount of information we receive from service providers who help us run the business.
Information you give us directly:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your shipping and billing addresses
- Your phone number (if you provide one at checkout)
- Your order history with us
- A password you choose for your account (we never store this in readable form — see "How We Protect Your Information" below)
- Any messages you send us through email or a contact form
Information collected automatically when you use the site:
- Your IP address, captured in standard server logs
- Basic technical details about your visit, such as your browser type, device type, and the pages you view
- Small cookies and similar storage on your device that keep your shopping cart and your login session working
Information from third parties:
- Limited order and payment confirmation details from our payment processor, so we know an order was paid for
- Shipping status updates from our fulfillment partner
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or sensitive categories of information such as health or religious beliefs.
How We Collect It
We collect most of your information through online forms you fill out, such as the account sign-up form, the checkout form, and any email you send us. Some information is collected automatically through standard web server logs and through cookies and browser storage that are needed for the site to work (for example, to remember what is in your cart or to keep you logged in as an admin).
How We Use Your Information
We use your information for normal business reasons, including:
- Fulfilling your orders. Processing payments, packing and shipping your items, sending order confirmations and shipping updates, and handling returns or refunds.
- Customer service. Responding to your questions, fixing problems with your orders, and following up on issues.
- Running and improving the site. Keeping the site secure, debugging errors, understanding which products and pages are popular, and improving the shopping experience.
- Fraud prevention. Spotting and blocking suspicious orders, account takeovers, and abuse.
- Legal and tax compliance. Keeping required records of sales, complying with tax laws, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
- Marketing, only if you opt in. If you sign up for our newsletter or promotional emails, we will send you updates about new products, recipes, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do share it with a small number of service providers who help us run the business. They are only allowed to use your information to do work for us.
- Clover — our payment processor. When you check out, Clover receives your name, billing and shipping address, and your payment card details. Clover handles your card data directly; we never see or store your full card number.
- Ariston Specialty Foods — our drop-ship fulfillment partner. Many of our products are shipped directly by Ariston on our behalf. To do this, Ariston receives your full shipping address, your name and contact information, and the list of items in your order.
- Resend — our transactional email provider. Resend receives your email address and the contents of order-related emails (such as confirmations and shipping notices) so we can deliver them to you.
- Vercel — our website host. Vercel handles incidental request logs (such as your IP address) as part of running the site.
- Neon — our database provider. Your account and order records are stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon.
We may also share information when we are required to by law, in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property — or yours. If our business is ever sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction.
Cookies and Tracking
We use only the cookies and browser storage that are needed for the site to work properly. These include:
- A cookie that keeps you signed in (a NextAuth/JWT session cookie, used mainly for admin sign-in)
- Browser localStorage that remembers what is in your shopping cart between visits
By default, we do not use advertising trackers, the Meta pixel, Google Analytics, or any other third-party analytics or ad tools. If we add a cookie banner or analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser settings. If you do, you may be signed out and your cart may be emptied.
How Long We Keep Your Information
- Order records. We keep records of orders indefinitely for tax, accounting, and legal reasons (for example, to handle chargebacks, returns, or audits).
- Account information. We keep your account information for as long as you have an account with us. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your account information, except for any order records we are required to keep.
- Email logs. Transactional email logs (such as delivery records held by Resend) are kept for a limited period, typically a few months.
- Server logs. Standard server logs containing IP addresses and request details are kept for a short period, typically up to 30 days, before being rotated or deleted.
How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information:
- All traffic to and from the site is encrypted using HTTPS.
- Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, not in readable form.
- Our database is encrypted at rest by Neon.
- Admin access to customer data is limited to a small number of trusted people and protected by sign-in credentials.
- Payment card details are handled by Clover, a PCI-compliant payment processor, so we never see your full card number.
No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you, where we got it, why we use it, and who we share it with.
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct personal information that is inaccurate.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax reasons).
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at [support@greekolivefusion.com]. We will verify your identity (usually by confirming details from your account or recent orders) before responding. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Your EU and UK Privacy Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
We ship only within the United States, but our site may be visited from the EU, EEA, or UK. If you are in one of those regions, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent (for example, marketing emails), you can withdraw it at any time.
- Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
Our legal bases for processing your data include performing our contract with you (such as fulfilling your order), complying with legal obligations, your consent (for example, marketing), and our legitimate interests in running and securing our business.
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at [support@greekolivefusion.com].
Children's Privacy
Greek Olive Fusion is intended for adults. The site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [support@greekolivefusion.com] and we will delete it.

If the changes are significant, we will provide a more visible notice, such as a banner on the site or an email to account holders. We encourage you to review this policy from time to time.
